The American Institutes for Research (AIR) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for work on an initiative that is funded under a contract issued by the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) to support the work of the Interagency Working Group on Youth Programs (IWGYP). The goal of this Request for Proposals is to establish research priorities and advance knowledge of the changing trends in adolescent sexual behavior and pregnancy in order to improve the delivery of family planning services. Evidence-Informed Approaches to Improving Health Outcomes for People Living with HIV
The purpose of this program is to support a single organization that will systematically identify, catalog, disseminate, and support the replication of evidence-informed approaches and interventions to engage PLWH who are not receiving HIV health care (i.e., individuals who are not currently in care or have never been in care) or are at risk of not continuing to receive HIV health care.

Analysis of Ecological Momentary Assessment Data Using Multilevel Modeling and Time-Varying Effect Modeling

The goal of this two-day workshop is to provide attendees with the theoretical background and applied skills necessary to identify and address innovative and interesting research questions in intensive longitudinal data streams such as daily diary and ecological momentary assessment (EMA) data using multilevel modeling (MLM) and time-varying effect modeling (TVEM).

Early Stage Investigator Paper Competition
Early Stage Investigators (ESI, within 10 years of their terminal degree) are encouraged to submit one article published, or accepted and in-press, between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017 that involves original research published in a peer-reviewed journal in which the ESI is the first author. OBSSR will pay the travel expenses for up to five ESI honorees to present the findings from their accepted paper and participate in a moderated discussion of future research possibilities during the 11th NIH Matilda White Riley Behavioral and Social Sciences Honors.
