Notice of Special Interest (NOSI): Epidemiology of Drug Abuse
The purpose of this Notice is to encourage the submission of research project applications that enhance our understanding of the nature, extent, distribution, etiology, comorbidities, and consequences of drug use, misuse, and addiction across individuals, families, communities, and diverse population groups. Priority will be given to applications that address multiple levels of risk, resilience, and causation across scientific disciplines, and that apply novel methods to advance knowledge of the interplay among genetic, environmental, neurobiological, and developmental factors and associated health and disease outcomes.

Food as Medicine: Food Insecurity and HIV-related Comorbidities, Coinfections, and Complications within the Mission of the NIDDK (R01 Clinical Trial Optional)
This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) seeks US domestic research projects that address how food insecurity effects HIV comorbidities, coinfections, and complications (CCCs) within the mission of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK).

The CDUHR 2020 Pilot Project Request for Applications has been announced. We are seeking pilot project applications focused on proposing high-impact and innovative research in the fields of HIV, HCV, substance use, and the continuum of prevention and care in these topical areas. The Pilot Projects Award provides the opportunity for investigators to develop new research initiatives or test the feasibility of new research strategies with the long-goal of securing subsequent external funding.
